The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 05/2025 for the recruitment of 367 Group B posts across various departments. Eligible candidates can apply online from 22nd July 2025 to 18th August 2025 via the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

Senior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + IT/computer course + typing test in English & Punjabi.
Junior Auditor: B.Com (1st Division) or M.Com (2nd Division).
District Treasurer / Treasury Officer: Graduate (preference to commerce graduates).
SDO (Civil): Graduate in Civil Engineering or AMIE with experience / Diploma in Civil with relevant experience.
Section Officer (Civil/Electrical): Diploma or higher qualification in respective engineering discipline.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

General: 18 to 37 years
SC/BC of Punjab: Up to 42 years
Govt. Employees: Up to 45 years
PwD: Up to 47 years
Age relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules.

Pay Scale

Most posts: ₹35,400/- (Level-6)
SDO (Civil): ₹47,600/- (Level-8)

Application Fees

General / Freedom Fighter / Sports: ₹1000/-
SC/BC/EWS: ₹250/-
Ex-Servicemen & Dependents: ₹200/-
PwD: ₹500/-

Selection Process

Written Examination (Objective type) – Syllabus to be released later.
Typing Test (for specific posts).
Document Verification & Counselling.
